This two-day series aims to open a conversation amongst theatre makers about the physical, emotional and community impact of sexual trauma and survivorship. Featuring local experts in this intersection of theatre and trauma, we will investigate how performing artists explore sexual violence in their work.
Performers, producers, designers, directors, writers, musicians, dramaturgs and more –are encouraged to participate as a breadth of experience will enrich our perspective! This series will showcase tools for inclusive and responsible theatre production, will increase empathy for survivors, as well as broaden the representations of sexual violence that we see onstage.
